It’s the most Democrat-friendly state in America, and Hillary Rodham Clinton will be milking it like a campaign cash cow on Friday.
The Senator from New York will spend most of the day in Massachusetts, but will have no public schedule.
At a series of private fund raising events, she will speak to, shake hands with, and extract money from wealthy donors in a race to pile up more contributions than any other Democrat running for president- especially Barack Obama. And if Clinton could rack up more donations than any Republican, that also would not hurt.
The reporting period for first-quarter campaign contribution ends Saturday. The numbers, to be made public next month, will show who the smart money is backing for the nation’s highest office.
So after that full day in the Bay State, Hillary Clinton will fly south to the Sunshine State- another place where there are plenty of wealthy Democrats to be found, and more checks to be collected in Florida before the clock strikes midnight on March 31st.
